Merial Animal Health, manufacturer of Frontline Combo and Frontline Spot On, has introduced Veloxa, a broad-spectrum de-wormer for dogs that is effective against all common internal worms, says the company. Veloxa’s beef-flavoured chewable tablets use PEC technology, which coats the bitter active ingredients, preventing their release in the mouth and making Veloxa highly palatable, adds Merial. Veloxa tablets are scored for accurate dosing and are available in packs of two, four, eight and 104 tablets for dogs weighing 2.5-30kg (RRP from £6.53), while Veloxa XL, suitable for dogs weighing 17.5-70kg, is available in packs of two, four, eight and 48 tablets (RRP from £15.97).
