Suffolk’s community pharmacy teams were recognised for the outstanding support they provide to their local communities in an Awards ceremony held in Ipswich on 23 January.

The second annual Suffolk Community Pharmacy Awards saw 18 awards and eight highly commended accolades presented to community pharmacy teams and individuals from across the county, in recognition of their achievements.

Michael Holden, principle associate at Pharmacy Complete, commented: “It’s inspiring to see the brilliant work being undertaken by pharmacy teams across Suffolk at the LPC awards and feel the passion for improving the health and wellbeing of people in the communities they serve. We need to bottle it and sell it to local and national health and public health commissioners!”

The event was attended by over 100 pharmacy staff, community service providers and VIP guests.
