Following its £620 million acquisition by Bestway Group last October, the former Co-operative Pharmacy has re-launched under the new name Well. All existing members of staff at the 780 pharmacies have retained their jobs, while Bestway Group hopes to drive growth and create hundreds more jobs across the UK, thanks to a £200 million investment. The company aims to reach an annual revenue of £1 billion by 2019 by offering quality services, renovating its pharmacies, opening new ones and establishing a wholesale pharmacy business, as well as helping to reduce NHS pressures.
