Dry skin

Dry skin usually occurs on the face, hands, arms and legs and can often be managed with simple self care tips.

Dry skin is caused by a lack of moisture. It can appear anywhere on the body, but usually occurs on the face, hands, arms and legs. In this chapter, we look at how customers can treat dry skin, including self care tips on how to manage the condition.

Dry skin problems develop when the balance between moisture content and natural moisturising factors, such as certain lipids, is compromised.
