Lloydspharmacy has opened its first ‘Betterlife’ store, which is dedicated to independent living. The innovative, new store, which is adjacent to the current Lloydspharmacy branch in New Wortley, Leeds, comprises 3,229 sq ft of retail space in which customers can select and test hundreds of different products, as well as receive expert advice from Lloydspharmacy staff. Developed in response to customer demand, the store features ‘room sets’ including a fully furnished bedroom and bathroom, as well as a multi-surface track for testing mobility scooters and even a car boot to check the ease of loading products into vehicles.

Grant Abrahams, head of Betterlife at Lloydspharmacy, said: “The store is much more than just a large retail space; it’s an interactive experience designed with customers’ needs and concerns in mind.”
