Actavis has launched Duloxetine GR Capsules in four different strengths. The 20mg and 40mg capsules are indicated for women with moderate to severe stress urinary incontinence, while the 30mg and 60mg capsules are for the treatment of major depressive disorder, diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain and generalised anxiety disorder. The medicine joins Actavis’ antidepressant portfolio, which also includes mirtazapine and venlafaxine.
