Pharmacy is key for Solpadeine

Solpadeine is back on TV screens in August, as part of Omega Pharma’s £4 million investment to reinforce the pivotal role that pharmacy plays in helping customers select the right treatment for optimum pain relief. The 30-second TV ad highlights how the triple action formula of Solpadeine Plus (paracetamol, caffeine and codeine) gets to work twice as fast as ordinary paracetamol tablets, says the company.

The pharmacy brand, which Omega Pharma says has grown in value sales by 15.3 per cent year on year and has a value share of 10.5 per cent, is helping pharmacies embrace this role by offering an updated training guide, providing pain advice and information on treatments.
