Two former Co-operative Pharmacy stores in Chester and Manchester (pictured) have become the first to reopen under the new name Well. The re-launch is part of a £220 million five-year investment plan by new owners Bestway Group, which will eventually result in the rebranding of all 780 pharmacies in the former Co-operative Pharmacy group across the UK.

Hollyoaks star Ashley Taylor Dawson officially re-opened the Well at Fountains Health, Chester, while the Well on Barlow Moor Road in Chorlton was unveiled by Coronation Street’s Alan Halsall. Both actors received a Well ‘health check-up’ and were joined by local residents who have made an outstanding contribution to their communities.
