Stomach pain and cramps are very common – affecting nearly a third of people in the UK at one time or another. But because they tend to be rather general symptoms, some sufferers find it difficult to put a label on their condition and may need your help and advice.
Objective
This module will tell you how to:
- Recognise the possible causes of stomach pains and cramps
- Understand the actions and uses of different types of treatments available
- Offer additional advice to the customer to manage the condition
- Know when to refer to the pharmacist.
