New DEET-free insect repellent Moskito Guard is scientifically proven to work as effectively as the recommended concentration of DEET and provides up to eight hours’ protection in one application, explains manufacturer Valneva. The product contains 20 per cent picaridin, which is recommended by the World Health Organization, Public Health England and The National Travel Health Network and Centre for demonstrating comparable, and often superior, repellent properties to those of the standard DEET, says Valneva. Water-resistant, non-greasy, pleasantly fragranced and suitable for use by pregnant women and children over 24 months, Moskito Guard is available in a 75ml spray and packs of 15 wipes.
