What are the awards?

This year the Recognition of Excellence Awards are bigger, bolder and better than ever before. TM is on its annual mission to showcase the best of community pharmacy support teams and the fantastic work that is happening throughout the UK. These awards recognise and reward some of the shining examples of medicines counter assistants, dispensing assistants and pharmacy technicians, and with an all expenses paid trip to London for all finalists PLUS fantastic prizes up for grabs, why wait?

What are the categories?

You may enter into as many of the following categories as you wish and you can nominate yourself or another member of your pharmacy support team. You’ve got until 26 April 2016 to get your entries in, so what are you waiting for? Get entering!

Customer Care Award
To recognise someone who has provided excellent customer care or who has gone the extra mile to help a customer. CLICK HERE TO ENTER NOW

Retail Skills Award
To reward someone who can demonstrate a good understanding of category management and who has implemented ideas that have increased sales and benefitted their pharmacy. CLICK HERE TO ENTER NOW

Counter Intelligence Award
To reward a member of the team who excels in their product knowledge and is highly skilled at recognising symptoms and recommending the right products along with the right advice. CLICK HERE TO ENTER NOW

Healthy Living Advisor Award
To recognise a member of the team who is helping their customers and community to live healthier lives, for example by stopping smoking, losing weight or eating healthily. CLICK HERE TO ENTER NOW

Infant Care Award
To reward a team member who excels at providing advice and knowledge to concerned parents and who demonstrates a sound understanding of infant conditions and nutrition. CLICK HERE TO ENTER NOW

Rising Star Award
To reward someone at the beginning of their pharmacy career who is excelling in all aspects of their role, embracing training and opportunities and who is making an impact on their pharmacy and community. CLICK HERE TO ENTER NOW

NEW Outstanding Contribution Award
This new category will recognise someone who has dedicated their career to community pharmacy and supporting customers and patients. CLICK HERE TO ENTER NOW

NEW Team Leader Award
Pharmacy support team members and pharmacy technicians are stepping up and managing pharmacies and leading teams. This new award is set to acknowledge this and reward a senior support team member. CLICK HERE TO ENTER NOW

NEW Innovation Award
Our final category to enter is to celebrate innovation in community pharmacy. It will recognise a support team member who has perhaps come up with creative ways to raise awareness, champion services or campaigns in the pharmacy and/or local community, or has perhaps been involved with a pilot scheme that’s made a difference in some way.
