Alphega Pharmacy has launched an innovative new app designed to help its members prepare to earn points in the Quality Payments Scheme (QPS).

The QPS app contains all the information pharmacists will need to maximise their QPS funding entitlement. With useful resources to help Alphega members understand the scheme, and suggested actions they can take to meet the criteria, the app provides members with accessible, accurate and easy-to-understand advice from the experts at Alphega Pharmacy.

Alphega Pharmacy business mentor, Richard King, said: “Following the introduction of the QPS, a large number of pharmacy-related organisations released information to independent pharmacies across the country explaining how the scheme will work. 

“The sheer volume of information caused some confusion amongst many of our members who found the scheme difficult to unravel and to grasp the key priorities. The introduction of the Alphega QPS action plan has been very well received by our members because it gives a simple step-by-step guide on what to do and by when. It’s a “one-stop shop” because it outlines all of the criteria in very simple terms, and has all the relevant links to guide our members to the information they need.”
