Skin conditions such as acne and cold sores are not usually serious but since they are visible on the face, they can make sufferers feel self-conscious and lower their confidence.
Objectives
This module will tell you how to:
- Recognise the symptoms of conditions that affect the skin such as acne and cold sores
- Understand the actions and uses of different types of treatments available
- Offer additional advice to the customer to manage the condition
- Know when to refer to the pharmacist.
