module menu icon The Anusol range

The Anusol range provides effective soothing relief for piles and is available in a choice of formats: creams, ointments and suppositories across GSL, P and POM categories.

The base GSL range contains an astringent to help soothe the area and reduce swelling, an antiseptic to reduce the risk of infection, and an emollient to help protect sore skin. The advanced P and POM products contain the additional benefit of an anti-inflammatory.

Anusol Ointment works in a similar way to the cream, but has a different consistency and feel.
Anusol Suppositories and Anusol Ointment — contain the same ingredient as the cream, but with the addition of bismuth subgallate. Together these ingredients exert a protective action on mucous membranes and raw surfaces.
