Infirst Healthcare has launched Unicough, a cough medicine that tackles cough reflex hypersensitivity – the underlying driver of all common coughs.

The pharmacy-licensed medicine is suitable for adults and children over 12 years of age to treat all common coughs – dry, tickly and chesty – and has been clinically proven to reduce the frequency of cough as well as night-time cough disruption, says Infirst Healthcare.

Unicough has a highly concentrated natural cocoa flavour and contains diphenhydramine, ammonium chloride and levomenthol, meaning it suppresses coughs, clears mucus and has an anaesthetic and cooling effect, the company adds. (RRP £8.95.)
