Quest Vitamins has launched BrightStart (rrp £7.99), a new vitamin D3 supplement for infants that comes in an easy to take liquid formula, says the company. BrightStart provides the recommended 400iu of vitamin D combined with other essential nutrients including vitamins A and E, and DHA – an omega-3 fatty acid required for the growth and function of the brain, eyes, heart and central nervous system during foetal and child development. Ensuring children get their recommended daily intake of vitamin D contributes to bone and teeth development, as well as the maintenance of the immune system and muscles, explains Quest Vitamins.

BrightStart is suitable for children aged one to five years old and is a vegetarian formula free from preservatives, sugar, sweeteners, alcohol and artificial colours and flavours.
