Pharmaceutical company Perrigo has launched a series of training workshops to highlight the benefits of healthy living pharmacy (HLP) status beyond quality payments and how pharmacy teams can be motivated to develop and maintain the HLP ethos.

Taking place at various locations across England between 13 September and 8 November, the free events will also provide a range of resources to help pharmacies make the transition.

“Becoming a healthy living pharmacy can increase footfall, the number of medicines use reviews and the number of new medicine services. It can also drive prescription volume and retail sales as well as customer satisfaction, and boost the motivation of the pharmacy team,” said Lynette Roberts, training manager at Perrigo.

She added that the programme: “Will enable us to work in partnership with pharmacies to help them take this important step.”
