After 12 months, babies can be given cows’ milk, but there are still other options such as continuing breastfeeding, using growing up milk or other non-dairy milks. Research the different types of milks available and create a poster of information to help when having conversations with parents.
Think about the following:
- What age range are they suitable for?
- Are there any potential issues with allergies?
- What nutrient information can you find?
- How much of each type of milk should a child of one year, three years and five years be drinking?
