1. Source information to help run a campaign, aimed at patients, to support appropriate use of antibacterials. You may choose to focus on a particular area, such as managing coughs and colds or sore throats.
2. Plan and undertake a training session with your pharmacy team to enable them to understand the concerns of overuse of antibiotics and antimicrobial resistance so that they can discuss this with patients.
3. Review the counselling that is provided in the pharmacy to patients collecting prescriptions for antibacterials.
