Aim: To help pharmacy technicians understand chronic plaque psoriasis through better recognition, treatment support and patient counselling, and to know when to refer to the pharmacist. 

Objectives: After completing this module and its online counterpart, pharmacy technicians will be able to:

• Recognise the typical presentation, triggers and comorbidities associated with chronic plaque psoriasis
• Explain how pharmacy teams can support appropriate management, treatment adherence and referral where necessary.
