This module aims to update pharmacy technicians’ knowledge on medicines optimisation for patients in primary care with chronic heart failure to enable patient-centred practice.

Learning objectives

After reading this module, pharmacy technicians will be able to:

• Describe the signs and symptoms of chronic heart failure
• Discuss optimised therapies and classes of medicines used to manage chronic heart failure
• Provide lifestyle advice for patients with chronic heart failure.
