This module aims to improve understanding
of the importance of being active and how to encourage customers to improve their health through physical activity, as part of local health campaigns and services.
Learning objectives:
- Be aware of the difference between everyday physical activity and exercise, and their health benefits
- Be able to initiate a conversation with customers about physical activity
- Understand the recommended levels of activity for adults and children, and how to suggest making it part of their daily routine.
