Eight more Well branches deliver Covid vaccines

In Latest

Well Pharmacy has started rolling out Covid vaccinations from a further eight branches.

The chain’s decision to administer vaccines from stores in Northwich, Lancashire, London, Devon, Stockport, Plymouth, Llanelli and Carmarthenshire takes the total number of its branches delivering jabs in England, Wales and Northern Ireland to 20.

Well said it plans to provide vaccinations from more branches in the coming weeks.

"Community pharmacy continues to play a pivotal role in the fight against Covid, with more than 500 community pharmacies delivering over 5 million vaccines so far,” said Well Pharmacy’s deputy pharmacy superintendent Ifti Khan.

“More than 65 million doses of a range of Covid vaccines have now been administered in the UK, which has been a monumental effort across the healthcare sector and one we are proud to have played our part in.

“A heartfelt thank you to our pharmacists, pharmacy teams and support from local volunteers to get these sites launched and working as safely, efficiently and effectively as possible.”
