The UK's ageing population means that the health of older people has never been so important. So how can the pharmacy team help?
The UK population is getting older €“ at the moment, around 10 million people are over 65 years in age, and this is expected to have almost doubled by 2050. Clearly, it is important that the health needs of this growing group are met, and pharmacy staff are ideally positioned to provide information and offer advice.
