New research from Solpadeine into the impact of pain and how people articulate it has revealed that 37 per cent of people put up with pain and do nothing else if mild analgesics don’t help. Some 27 per cent say it is hard to articulate how their pain feels and 24 per cent find it hard to know when a stronger form of pain relief is suitable. To help pharmacy teams discuss pain with their customers, Solpadeine has created a suite of training materials, including a visual and intuitive pain scale rating, to enable them to make recommendations for stronger pain relief responsibly and confidently, explains manufacturer Perrigo.
