Innovo’s patented neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) technology has been incorporated into a new non-invasive solution for regaining pelvic floor control. The innovative shorts are a clinically proven, long-term solution for eliminating stress and urge urinary incontinence, says manufacturer Atlantic Therapeutics. The initial treatment phase requires five 30-minute sessions per week, for three months, after which 86 per cent of users have been found to be dry or almost dry, the company explains.
