This year marks NeilMed’s 25th anniversary – a milestone that feels humbling. What began in 2000 with a single product, the NeilMed Sinus Rinse, has grown into the world’s largest manufacturer of large-volume, low-pressure nasal irrigation solutions, now available in more than 70 countries.
- What is NeilMed and how does it work?
Our flagship product, the Sinus Rinse, is a simple saline irrigation system that helps people with allergies, sinusitis, and other nasal issues. By gently flushing out allergens, mucus, and irritants, it offers relief without reliance on medication.
Since then, our range has expanded to include neti pots, adult nasal sprays, baby nasal aspirators and sprays, wound washes, and ear care products – always with the same mission: high quality, safe, simple to use, effective, universally available and affordable solutions to improve everyday life.
- What do you enjoy about your role?
Innovation drives me. Knowing that our products help people breathe, sleep, and live better is the greatest reward. Leading NeilMed also means working with an incredible global team that shares this passion.
Seeing our products on pharmacy shelves is gratifying, but nothing compares to the stories from patients whose lives have been transformed.
- What are NeilMed’s core values?
Four values guide everything we do: patient safety, quality, affordability, and education.
We partner closely with healthcare professionals and pharmacists to ensure patients not only access our products but also understand how to use them correctly and safely.
- What are your future goals?
We want to keep expanding globally, developing new solutions in respiratory and wellness, and investing in sustainability by reducing plastic use and improving packaging. Growth should be both innovative and socially responsible.
- How can pharmacies get involved?
Pharmacies play a central role in our journey. With acute rhinosinusitis now part of the Pharmacy First initiative, Sinus Rinse can be confidently recommended by pharmacy teams.
