These products can be used together to relieve the discomfort of internal and external haemorrhoids.

Anusol Cream should only be applied twice daily

Anusol Cream should be applied to the affected area at night, in the morning and after each evacuation until the condition is controlled.

Anusol Cream contains three active ingredients:

An astringent to help soothe the area and reduce swelling, an antiseptic to reduce the risk of infection, and an emollient to help protect sore skin.

Constipation is a predisposing factor for haemorrhoids and eating a high fibre diet can help prevent constipation.

She should see the GP if the haemorrhoids persist after five days

Most haemorrhoids settle with low rates of recurrence.⁵ If they persist after two weeks, it is advisable to make an appointment with the GP to confirm the diagnosis.
