Nasal decongestant brand Otrivine has launched a digital campaign targeting allergy sufferers who turn to Twitter to express their irritations or ask for sympathy when feeling unwell because of hayfever. Using the Twitter handle @OtrivineUK and the hashtag #SnotWhatISaid, the campaign encourages congested customers to share their embarrassing experiences and irritations.

Otrivine then engages with a small piece of respite to make them smile, in the form of four 10-20 second videos capturing the struggles of pronouncing certain words and letters when congested, says manufacturer Novartis.
