MS has many symptoms and each individual will experience these differently. It is also important to remember that not all symptoms of MS are visible to others (e.g. pain). Symptoms include:
- Loss of balance and co-ordination
- Stiffness/spasm which can lead to difficulty in walking
- Foot drop
- Tremor
- Speech problems
- Fatigue
- Pain (neuropathic and/or musculoskeletal)
- Sensory symptoms
- Bladder/bowel issues
- Problems with vision
- Difficulty in swallowing
- Heat sensitivity
- Sexual issues
- Depression
- Problems with cognition and thinking.
