Hello lovely readers! Wishing you a very Happy New Year from our entire Training Matters team.

We have hit the ground running here at TM HQ, with lots of new and exciting things for you to get involved in this year.

Kicking off with the launch of our Recognition of Excellence Awards for 2025. The Awards are extremely close to my heart and truly champion the hard work of every single member of the community pharmacy team. We know this year is going to be extremely special, so don’t miss out.

Next, for 2025 we have launched a brand new Counter Conversations series, to aid with the entire teams’ communication skills. From WWHAM questions to managing difficult customers, we are striving to cover all the possible scenarios you may encounter in the pharmacy. Get in touch if there is something you’d love us to include as part of this series!

Our podcast series aligns with our Professional Assistant modules this year. I do hope these accessible listens continue to support your knowledge of over-the-counter (OTC) conditions and advice in the pharmacy.
