Omega-3 supplement brand Wiley’s Finest UK has launched a campaign with School in a Bag, a charity that sends school bags filled with educational resources to millions of disadvantaged children around the world.
Between 1 June and 30 September, Wiley’s Finest UK will donate 20 per cent of the value of every bottle of its children’s products, Beginners DHA and Elementary EPA, to the charity’s Ghana initiative, which provides education and employment to local communities through clearing plastic waste and raising community awareness of recycling by supporting locals to sew the plastic into school bags.
Throughout the campaign, retailers, including pharmacies, will be supported by in-store marketing and a PR and social media campaign, the company explains.
Paul Farquhar, managing director of Wiley’s Finest UK, says: “We look forward to working with our customers, pharmacists and health shops and start generating money for this wonderful charity.”
