My Trusty is a skincare range created 30 years ago by research scientists and pharmacists at Salisbury District Hospital to treat the new skin on burns and plastic surgery patients. The range has been further developed and is now launching into Tesco and Superdrug stores. It comprises: My Trusty Sunflower Body Lotion, Hand Cream, Body Butter and Face and Body Oil. Each product in the range is based around natural sunflower oil, which is rich in vitamin F (essential fatty acids, such as omega-3 and 6), for the repair, renewal and growth of skin. The products can be used to hydrate all skin types, including dry, itchy and oily skin, as well as to help people who are prone to eczema, psoriasis and rosacea or acne. They are dermatologically tested and clinically proven to help reduce the appearance of scars as well as to moisturise for up to 24 hours, and are suitable for the whole family, including babies upwards of eight weeks old. This is the first commercial venture of its kind from the NHS, and the profits from every purchase will go back into supporting NHS patient care.
