Businesses rely on many things to be successful, but there is often one common trait among those that succeed: a fantastic team of people.

Being part of a team and working together are essential skills for all employees: think of your pharmacy as an engine and each person as a cog. It takes everyone turning together and in the right direction to push the engine forward and if one cog stops turning, then nothing moves.

But working together as a team is not always easy. Everyone has a different skill set, with different strengths and weaknesses and different ideas; some people are natural leaders, while others prefer to keep their head down and get on with the task ahead of them. And while these differences can make working together difficult at first, ultimately it makes teams stronger as everyone is able to contribute their strengths in their individual roles.
