Managing children's dry, eczema-prone skin is a significant challenge for parents. Research by Johnson & Johnson has found that 46 per cent of parents do not remember to apply products to their child's skin and 46 per cent find it difficult to apply products such as emollients at regular intervals, with 28 per cent saying they need more information.
With this in mind, Johnson & Johnson, which makes Aveeno skincare products, has teamed up with children's author Penelope Harper to release a series of children's books €“ The Dry-Ventures of Ellie & Eddie. The series serves as a conversation tool to help families understand dry skin and the importance of maintaining a daily treatment regimen.
