CPPE on... the Covid-19 Hub

The Covid-19 pandemic has presented new challenges for the pharmacy professions and CPPE has created a new learning and resource hub to help

The Covid-19 pandemic is a quickly evolving situation that requires a rapid response from the pharmacy sector to support patient care in those places where it is needed most.

In response to the new challenges faced by pharmacy professionals during this difficult time, CPPE has launched a new Covid-19 learning and resource hub.

The hub contains learning resources from CPPE and other pharmacy organisations, such as the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and Health Education England, in order to supply all of the information that pharmacy professionals may need in one accessible place.

Useful resources

The learning materials round up latest Covid-19 resources, linking to CPPE’s Covid-19 gateway page and the recently launched Guide to returning to pharmacy practice, which supports those rejoining the GPhC’s register to bolster the pharmacy effort during the pandemic. The hub also offers support for a range of situations that pharmacy professionals across all sectors may find themselves in, such as needing to upskill to look after acutely or critically unwell patients or work in a Nightingale hospital, as well as specific advice for working in primary care at this time, whether that’s in a GP practice or dealing with care homes.

The hub also contains information on resilience and seeking support to ensure that all pharmacy professionals, including those working in community pharmacy, can find any help they may need to cope with stress and build resilience.
