Customers will often come into the pharmacy looking for help with first aid. This guide to minor injuries will help ensure that you are able to provide quick and appropriate advice.

Minor accidents can often be dealt with at home, but it's important that pharmacies educate customers on how to self-treat, as well as how to spot when an injury is more serious.

Objectives

This module will tell you how to:

  • Suggest appropriate first aid products to customers with minor injuries
  • Offer additional advice to customers to help ease the injury
  • Know when to refer to the pharmacist.
