Hello lovely readers! I hope you’ve all had a great March so far and I’d like to wish you all a belated Happy International Women’s Day.
Head to our fertility and pregnancy feature to discover how you can keep supporting women in the pharmacy. This month, our men’s health feature hits home on HIV and it feels wonderful to be able to share the advances in science and technology that have got us to where we are today with curbing the disease that ravaged the 80 and 90s. There is still work to be done, however, so find out how you can raise awareness.
In Recognition of Excellence (RoE) news... the TM team heads to Scotland this month as part of our Roadshow and we are so excited!
And on that note, I must mention that our entries and nominations for the RoE Awards 2023 close on the 7 April, so this is my last chance in my comment to encourage you to enter and/or nominate a colleague. We’ve had such a brilliant uptake so far, but I’d certainly hate for you to miss out.
If, like me, you’ve been watching the many awards shows that have been on over the past few months, you will know just how much recognition means to those who recieve it for their work and how it can inspire others. In the words of Michelle Yeoh: “This is proof that... dream big, and dreams do come true. And ladies, don’t let anybody tell you you are ever past your prime. Never give up.”
