Every year, the team at Training Matters (TM) highlights the hard work of community pharmacy staff at the Recognition of Excellence (RoE) Awards – the only UK Awards exclusively for community pharmacy support staff.

The aim – as always – is to honour dedicated pharmacy team members who go the extra mile to support their customers, colleagues and communities every day. 

10-year celebrations

To celebrate 10 years of the RoE Awards in 2023 our TM team are heading out on a UK-wide roadshow to find the best of the best in community pharmacy. Between January and April, we will be visiting community pharmacies in Wales, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England to raise awareness about the vital roles’ pharmacies play in their communities, highlight the successes of individuals and teams and celebrate unsung heroes.

The RoE Awards champions medicine counter assistants, delivery drivers, dispensing assistants, health champions, pharmacy technicians, accuracy checking technicians, team leaders, pharmacy managers and those who hold any other patient-facing role within the community pharmacy support team who are “just doing their job” but go above and beyond every day. If this sounds like you, or someone you know, we want to hear about it! 

Want us to pay you a visit?

The TM team will provide each participating pharmacy with the opportunity to enter or nominate pharmacy team members for the RoE Awards 2023. When we visit, we will chat with your team, provide you with some digital #RoE23 assets and most importantly share your success stories across our in-print, digital and social media channels.
