Another way to address inequalities
Pharmacy technicians with an interest in breaking down inequalities may not have heard of Pharmacy Technicians of Colour (PToC). Co-founder Samantha Quaye explains: "PToC was founded in response to individual pharmacy technicians' concerns about discrimination and lack of representation.
"The group was established in 2020 and has held a number of well-attended events to educate, inform and support attendees. Our aim is to celebrate achievements, raise awareness of inequalities and amplify the voices of our group members."
To stay up to date with the group’s news and events, follow them on twitter @PTOC11 or email them at ptocgroup@gmail.com.
