New research from The College of Podiatry shows that 90 per cent of adults experience some type of foot problem, so it's a topic that you'll often be called upon for advice and recommendations.

Nine out of 10 adults experience some sort of foot problem, with 20 per cent suffering constant foot pain. Yet less than a quarter of sufferers seek help and 16 per cent just hope the problem will go away.

Working in a pharmacy, you will know that there is lots you can recommend for foot problems. The aim of this session is to increase your knowledge of foot and leg problems so that you can help your customers keep their feet and legs looking and feeling as good as possible. So what sort of help can you offer?

How well do you know the products, what they are for and how to use them? Communication skills are very important in this area, too. You and your team should be well prepared with empathy, understanding, knowledge and time to share with customers who have foot and leg problems.
