Customers with diabetes should not treat themselves for any foot problems. Diabetes can reduce blood flow to the feet and damage the nerves, causing loss of sensation. This means that the sufferer might not feel injury or extreme heat or cold on their feet. Always ask, and refer customers with diabetes to the pharmacist.

Also note that salicylates in verruca, corn and callus treatments may exacerbate asthma symptoms in customers who are sensitive to aspirin.
