MAC is back

Sore throat brand MAC is re-launching in the UK with a revitalised offering of sore throat lozenges, manufacturer Ernest Jackson has announced. The all-new Sore Throat lozenges contain the antiseptic amylmetacresol to provide relief from discomfort, while the Dual Action lozenges contain both an antiseptic and hexylresorcinol, a local anaesthetic, which soothes the throat as well as providing relief from discomfort, the company adds. To coincide with the launch, the company has created a tailored training tool, available from October, which aims to enhance pharmacy teams’ knowledge of how best to talk about sore throats to customers through a simple and easy-to-use flowchart.
