The new red packaging design will feature visual cues to help draw customers’ attention at the fixture and resonate with customers seeking to look after their gum health, explains manufacturer GSK. The design change will be supported with a heavyweight media investment of over £1 million on Corsodyl Treatment Mouthwash across 2018, including always-on digital display, social and video activations, GSK adds.

The Puressentiel Muscle and Joints range offers a number of topical self care products to help relax, soothe and relieve muscle and joint pain. Puressentiel Heating Patches contain 14 pure essential oils, with added capsicum extract, a type of chilli that naturally provides a pleasant feeling of warmth for up to eight hours, the company explains. The odourless patches can be used on all areas of the body and can be cut to size to suit the application requirements and are invisible under clothing, Puressentiel adds. Topical analgesic brand Ralgex returns to the market with refreshed packaging, website, POS and a PR campaign to support its relaunch. The muscle pain remedy can be used before or after exercise for symptomatic relief of muscular aches and stiffness, including backache, lumbago and fibromyalgia, by providing a gentle warmth to increase blood flow and soothe pain, explains manufacturer Lanes Health. Active ingredients include methyl salicylate, turpentine oil, levomenthol, camphor and eucalyptus oil and the product can be applied up to three times a day, the company adds.

A new campaign from Solpadeine is being launched to explain how customers might need to consider a visit to their pharmacy to explore treatments to manage their acute moderate pain effectively and ask about Solpadeine, manufacturer Perrigo has announced. Using the strapline ‘Don’t let pain hold you back’, the 360-degree campaign uses a new creative, and activity will include TV, digital display and pay-per-click advertising, as well as posters and leafl ets in GP surgeries. TV activity will go live on 11 June and run until August.
