Diprobase is expanding its range of emollients to include convenient pack sizes for self-selection in pharmacies. The Diprobase range is now available in a 50g cream, 50g ointment, and a 50ml and 300ml lotion to allow people with dry skin conditions such as eczema to take an active role in managing their condition, says manufacturer MSD.

The launch follows research commissioned by MSD that revealed only 19 per cent of eczema sufferers using emollients apply them the recommended three to four times a day. Of those not meeting this recommendation, over half said their emollient was too big to carry around. Conveniently sized products will give adults with eczema the opportunity to better control their condition, adds MSD.
