Wound care product Biatain Silicone has been launched in UK pharmacies. The soft, flexible and absorbent foam dressings are used for treating a wide range of acute and chronic wounds, explains manufacturer Coloplast. The Biatain foam swells to conform closely to the wound bed creating an optimal wound healing environment and the gentle silicone adhesive ensures the dressing is easy and pain-free on removal, the company adds. The range includes eight sizes and shapes designed to suit difficult-to-dress areas of the body.
