To celebrate the invaluable work of pharmacy technicians, recognise its impact and look forward to what the future holds for the profession, the Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK (APTUK) is hosting a programme of webinars and lunchtime learning sessions during this year's Pharmacy Technician Week.
Running throughout the week (October 19-23), the webinar and learning programme includes:
• GPhC Initial Education and Training Updates: explore developments in pharmacy technician education and what they mean for the future workforce.
• Pharmacy Technicians in Clinical Trials: discover how pharmacy technicians contribute to clinical research, medicines management and improving patient outcomes.
• Engaging with Your Professional Leadership Body: find out how you can strengthen our collective professional voice, influence developments and help shape the future of pharmacy technician practice.
• Genomics and Its Impact on Pharmacy Technician Practice: explore emerging opportunities in pharmacogenomics, gene therapies and genomic medicine.
“Whether you’re a pre-registration trainee, newly qualified pharmacy technician, experienced practitioner, educator or leader, there’s something for everyone,” says APTUK.
