As soon as lockdown was announced, Good Life Pharmacy got ahead of the game with deliveries, organising four pick ups per day, plus extra controlled drugs deliveries – a logistically impressive and invaluable service 

The team worked tirelessly, with help from local volunteers, to ensure no one went without their medication. They made excellent use of communication channels, including social media, to get important messages out to customers and patients.

Their efforts didn’t go unnoticed, with one GP contacting them to say how reassured she was to know her patient would have their prescription delivered after their telephone consultation.

Understanding the continued importance of certain services, such as vaccinations and UTI treatments, the team was able to maintain these – in the safest way possible – with effective use of PPE, to keep everyone as healthy and safe as they could.
