Revamped packs aid customer selection

Buscopan has improved the packaging for its IBS Relief and Cramps products to help customers make informed product selections. The products’ primary claims now appear at the top of the packaging, reinforcing their key benefits and aiding navigation at the shelf, says manufacturer Boehringer Ingelheim. A secondary claim bar communicates the products’ modes of action so that customers can better understand how they work, adds the company. The packaging material has also been switched from a foil to silver and gold ink to avoid reflection issues from store lighting, and pack size information has been added to the top of the boxes so that it’s not hidden on shelf.
