It’s January and at TM HQ that means one thing: the Recognition of Excellence Awards are back!

These awards – the only national awards exclusively for members of the community pharmacy support team – focus on rewarding hard-working and dedicated individuals who go above and beyond the call of duty to support their customers, patients, pharmacies and communities.

After experiencing a year unlike any other in community pharmacy, there are countless examples of front-line community pharmacy teams going to great new lengths to make a difference. But there has also been inspirational work achieved outside of the pandemic and this is worth shouting about and celebrating too.

In addition to the usual individual categories, and due to popular demand, Training Matters (TM) has launched a brand-new Pharmacy Team of the Year Award for 2021 to recognise the incredible joint efforts and team spirit that are so often the backbone of successful and supportive community pharmacies.

TM's aim is to return to RoE's roots and hold an Awards ceremony at a stunning central London location in September, Government restrictions permitting, of course, giving the finalists the opportunity to celebrate in style. And, as ever, fabulous prizes will be up for grabs too.

So, if you're proud of what you've achieved over the last 12 months in community pharmacy, or if you think a colleague or your whole team deserve recognition for their amazing work, TM wants to hear your stories.
